the story of two college dorm mates, Alexis Roberts (male) and Sandy Grayson (male), who get kicked out of their dorm rooms and are forced to find another place to stay. They see an advertisement for a place called the Aoi House that promises loads of manga and anime. Being anime fans the two boys seek to be accepted. Upon being accepted they learn that the name "Aoi House" was not the original name, first it was "Yaoi House" but the "Y" fell off the sign. Now some of you are gonna be like "ew yaoi, not intrested." but actually the series does not focus around yaoi. It's a really messed up story about the two boys and their new frieds at the Aoi House. Now, Aoi House IS a harem manga, so of course there is fan service, but not TOO much, you know like there isn't a half naked girl on every page. I was actually surprised that the series wasn't all about yaoi, and actually glad for it, although I am a yaoi fangirl, I don't like it totally dominating everything. But I give Aoi House an A on entertainment and style, it looks just like it came from Japan, but actually Aoi House was created here in America by Adam Arnold who writes the story and Shiei who does the illustration. I totally recommend this manga to anyone who enjoys comedy~
